European Standard Technical Committees Visit London

From 10 to 12 May MPA-BRMCA hosted the annual meetings of two European Standard Technical Committees 'Concrete – Specification performance, production and conformity' (TC104/SC1) and 'Concrete and related products' (TC104).  The National delegations were welcomed to the Council Room of The Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great Street by Chris A Clear, Director BRMCA.

Sponsored by CEMEX Admixtures, SIKA and Bonar-Adfil attendees and partners were treated to dinner at The Orange, Pimlico. Discussions concerning the beneficial use of fibres, sprayed concrete and in-situ strength assessment were overheard throughout the evening, as well as Brexit and more significantly who would win the Eurovision song contest.
