BRMCA Excellence in Customer Service Award 2016 - Concrete Society Awards - 18 November 2016

The Winners Hanson for Walthamstow Blockade. To facilitate the London Underground upgrade a concrete slab of approximately 275 m3 was placed 500 metres from the point of discharge.  Atul Jewitt, project manager for TfL said '…concrete pour was crucial to the successful completion of the Walthamstow Blockade and my thanks to everyone for working so well together.'

Customer Service for Tarmac for Office extension, Dancourt Construction and Hanson for Medway River Bridge were both highly commended.

The Concrete Society Award went to the Lee Tunnel Project, Becton, London where CEMEX were the ready-mixed concrete supplier to MVB Joint Venture.
